STATEMENT

I believe mediation is a fluid process. A good mediator needs to be able to adapt to the parties’needs and choose the appropriate mediation style given the circumstances. My preferred style begins with a facilitative approach, helping parties to better understand differing perspectives and interests. Next, I incorporate an evaluative model to help parties see a clear picture of the possibilities so that they may understand their decisions and my suggestions. I am often described as calm, professional and committed to the mediation process. I enjoy helping parties quickly and creatively resolve conflicts.
