I am a Family Law Attorney, Mediator, Collaborative Law Practitioner, Author, Lecturer, and Keynote Speaker. I have been writing a column on psychology and family law for the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association's bimonthly newsletter since September 2008. I have also published articles on family law in a variety of well-respected publications, including Forbes. Columnists from the Pasadena Star-News, the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, and other publications use me as a resource for their columns. I have been interviewed on KTLA news by Manny Medrano, profiled by the Beverly Hills Bar Association in an article titled "Family Law Par Excellence" and by the Pasadena Star-News in an article titled "Finding the Solution.

I was recognized as Southern California Super Lawyer in the family law category in 2012 and 2013, AVVO rated 10.0 (superb), and included as a Top Attorney by Pasadena Magazine in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

On March 23, 2012, I was a Keynote Speaker at The Divorce Expo, which was a program offering resources and information to the Detroit Metro community regarding positive and future oriented options for divorce.

I presented at the 2012 California Psychological Association (CPA) Convention on "What about family values? Facilitating rational problem-solving into an otherwise destructive divorce process." I will be a presenter at the 2013 CPA Convention on "The Cutting Edge of Psychological Practice: Mental Health Professionals and Dispute Resolution."

I will be a presenter at the American Bar Association's Section of Family Law 2013 Spring CLE Conference in Anchorage, Alaska. The presentation is titled, "Navigating the Emotional Waters of Family Law in Collaborative Practice."
